If you couldn’t stand those times in the air when you were cut off from all communications, American Airlines has a solution for you. They are set to be the first to offer in-cabin wi-fi access to customers. It wouldn’t be a castrated service like on JetBlue: they promise the full Internet, for a price of course. For flights longer than 3 hours, it would cost $12.95. For shorter flight, the price is currently planned at $10.
The service will go online on Boeing 767-200 airplanes first.

This means that SF will never miss an eBay auction because of a flight?!!

yes, you will no longer lose auctions at the last second just because you’re flying in the air!
