End of the Professional Skills Course

    Law No Comments »

Well I’m finally done with the Professional Skills and Responsibility Program at the Law Society of Upper Canada. Overall, it’s a fairly short process (4 weeks) that could be condensed even more. Few days are spent doing oral assessments that only last 10 minutes. Those could have been grouped together in order to be more efficient…

Overall it’s a fairly informative process that helps you manage your own practice and run your own firm. Valuable information indeed, but it’s probably not the right time as it would have been more valuable after the articling process.

    Jack Thompson to get suspended?

    Law 2 Comments »

Here’s great news to all lawyers out there! The certifiable nutjob that is Jack Thompson is rumored to be receiving 91-day suspension from the Florida Bar Association, and they’re apparently also demanding he undergoes psychiatric evaluation…

We’re all hoping for him to get disbarred, but I’ll take any disciplinary action I can get against him!
