Winner: Sins of a Solar Empire
The space strategy genre was pretty crowded this year with the launch of Galactic Civilizations II, but Sins of a Solar Empire wins this round thanks to its gorgeous graphics, easy to use interface and incredibly deep combat, economy and customization systems.
